Project Working Sessions
1. Accomplishments made during the first year of the project.
The coordinator reviews the reports received and the work that has not been completed.
All work not completed to date must be completed before the end of December to be included on the project website.
Reminder of the composition of the reports, accompanied by some photos of the students at work.
Reminder of the regularity of the reports and their timing.
The partners' reports must be shared with all students so that all partners are aware of the achievements made throughout the partnership.
Questionnaires regarding the feedback from students, parents, and teachers have not been submitted to the coordinator. These documents must be received during the vacation period. If all documents from each partner are not correctly submitted to the coordinator, the coordinator will not release the third tranche of funds allocated for those that are not in order. Reminder: 3rd tranche in January if all activities have been completed and all documents have been sent to the coordinator.
2. Second year of the project.
A/ A major quiz will be organized in September with the theme "Do you know Europe?" Various topics will be covered during this quiz, which will be conducted in all partner schools, primarily for final-year primary school students. These topics include: European organizations, the history of the EU, European geography, European history, music, painters, scientists and their inventions, aviation, trains, great navigators, builders, European flags, and each partner country. These quiz sessions will take place between mid-September and the end of October. Students will be able to work alone or in groups of up to three. They will be able to complete the quiz using books and the internet. Each topic will be allocated a time limit, which each partner must strictly adhere to. Each partner will receive the questionnaires in Word format before the end of the school year, adaptable for computer use. Each partner MUST send the summary document to the coordinator BEFORE the mobility in Belgium.
B/ Let's publish a journal of the first year. For this journal, we need to find a title that fits our project. Various responses have already been provided by the partners. During the holidays, each partner will send the coordinator at least two articles related to their first year of the project. Each partner is free to choose the article. The articles must reach the coordinator NO LATER THAN August 15th so that the journal can be compiled and the coordinator can send this first journal to the partners by early September.
C/ Don't forget the planned meetings with parents, a climatologist, and/or a glaciologist.
D/ Activities to be carried out during the second year:
Each partner will choose at least three activities to carry out, remembering to send reports with photos and/or videos.
The choice will be done between :
Climate in my country / What has changed with the actual climatic modifications / Difficulties of certains jobs following the climatic modifications / Some new national products related to climate change / JHow can climate change affect human life and health on our planet / Clilmate change will have an impact on both the plant and animal worlds.
E/ Detective game in October for the mobility in Belgium
Detective game in the second half of March 2026 for the mobility in Lithuania
F/ A collective poem: We will choose a Lithuanian poem whose content meets our interests and whose structure allows for a group recitation. This recitation will take place during the mobility in Belgium. The poem is in English. It is important for each partner to translate the poem into their native language and explain its content to the students.
G/ Singing: Learning a common song: "Imagine" by John Lennon.
H/ Mobility Dating:
LTTA Mobility in Belgium: From Monday, November 17, 2025 to Sunday, November 23, 2025
Each partner receives a detailed program with the prices for activities and visits. Partners have already paid 50% of their stay at the Mons Youth Hostel.
For partners arriving by plane in Brussels, the coordinator, upon receiving the arrival and departure times, will inquire about train times to Mons and the price, specifically for children under 12. The coordinator will greet participants upon arrival and direct them to the Youth Hostel.
Each partner also receives a document for each child's menu selection for dinner at McDonald's on the Grand Place in Mons. TNM mobility in Guadeloupe: Marie-Lucie proposes a date from February 1 to 5, 2026. Claude Declève, the project coordinator, sent an email to the partners after the mobility ended, requesting a change of dates as he would not be available until February 17. Given the vacations in France, he proposes the mobility from March 1 to 5, 2026. Greece and Lithuania responded affirmatively to this change request. Awaiting final confirmation.
LTTA mobility in Lithuania. Armen proposes a date from May 2, 2026, to May 9, 2026. The partners request a hotel in central Vilnius. Armen will inquire and provide the information to the partners.
3. Financial session
Partners MUST PROVIDE THE COORDINATOR with copies of their mobility-related expenses. These documents must include travel invoices as well as all expenses incurred during the mobility period. These documents are ESSENTIAL in the event of an end-of-project audit or an audit in your own country.
The third installments will be made during January 2026 for all partners in order of activities completed and reports submitted.
For those who are not in order during the project, they will receive the money once they have made the desired corrections.
During this mobility, the coordinator received financial documents from the Italian, Greek, Lituanian and Bulgarian partners. He is awaiting the documents from the French partner as soon as possible. Without receiving these documents, the Financial office of the City of Mons will no longer issue funds to partner who is not in order.
